Our Mission
The Capitol Pharmacy Association serves as a Guild to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians a cost-effective opportunity to exchange healthcare information among themselves and other health professionals in a social environment.

The Capitol Pharmacy Association meets regularly as a non-profit Guild to provide:

1. A cost effective means of presenting live accredited continuing education.
2. Opportunity for social interaction and exchange of information between pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
3. Continual update on Pharmacy Law and a means to provide input into healthcare rule & regulations by its members.
4. Timely review of new products, topics and healthcare issues impacting daily practice needs.
5. A means to access job opportunities or available personnel.
6. Direct contact to pharmaceutical representatives and their companies.
7. A connection to other pharmacy-related groups and their activities.
8. Support website activities (surveys, address lists, updates and newsletters).
9. Free membership to The Idaho Institute of the History of Pharmacy.

Dr. Flanigan will present to us Daiichi-Sankyo's "Family" of Antihypertensive agents. These include Benicar and a number of combination products. They have a "stepped" approach to when and where to use each product. Should be interesting. In addition, he is highly involved in Preventive Medicine for Cardiology and Lipidology. Space is limited.

One hour of non-ACPE, direct contact CE will be provided at the conclusion. Space is limited to Pharmacists only please.
