Our Mission
The Capitol Pharmacy Association serves as a Guild to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians a cost-effective opportunity to exchange healthcare information among themselves and other health professionals in a social environment.

The Capitol Pharmacy Association meets regularly as a non-profit Guild to provide:
  1. A cost effective means of presenting live accredited continuing education.
  2. Opportunity for social interaction and exchange of information between pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Continual update on Pharmacy Law and a means to provide input into healthcare rule & regulations by its members.
  4. Timely review of new products, topics and healthcare issues impacting daily practice needs.
  5. A means to access job opportunities or available personnel.
  6. Direct contact to pharmaceutical representatives and their companies.
  7. A connection to other pharmacy-related groups and their activities.
  8. Support website activities (surveys, address lists, updates and newsletters).
  9. Free membership to The Idaho Institute of the History of Pharmacy.

Harry Herar and Cubist Pharmaceuticals are pleased to present:

Subject: “Treatment of Severe and Life-Threatening Diarrhea
      caused by Clostridium difficile (CDAD)”

Speaker: Javeed Siddiqui, MD, Infectious Disease Specialist
      UCDavis Medical Center

In addition to Cubicin (Daptomycin), Cubist Pharmaceuticals has several pipeline drugs being investigated for the Superbugs, i.e. Vancocin Resistant Enterococci (VRE). As usual, Harry Herar is bringing in one of the experts in the field on Infectious Disease Epidemiology. This presentation is a MUST for any of you interested in the future of treating microbial superinfections.

One hour of non-ACPE, direct contact CE will be provided at the conclusion. Attendance limited to health care professionals per PHarma Guidelines. Space limited.
